See the evidence for the 2012–2013 transition

FormulaWatch found evidence of a material transition from an earlier formula to the long-lived pre-2026 formula around 2012–2013. The exact manufacturer launch date remains unresolved.

An older family is documented in the early and mid-2000s. By February 2013, returning consumers were distinguishing an old and new formulation, and a complete materially different formula was documented by November 24, 2013.

FormulaWatch does not describe the older family as the “1997 original formula” because the exact launch INCI has not been verified.
